Well y’all, I’m back at it again. Time to publish another book.

I’m excited to announce DARKNESS UNDONE!

As of this morning, the Kickstarter campaign for my second poetry collection is live. This one is my follow up to UNRAVELING LIGHT, my debut collection that came out in 2018. Even back when that campaign was wrapping up, I knew I wanted it to merely be the first book in a duology. The title for DARKNESS UNDONE came to me the one night as I was working on formatting my first book, and ever since then I’ve been excited to see what would come of it.

That time is now.

Why during a global pandemic might you be asking? Well for one, I’ve realized that there isn’t a single damn thing I should ever take for granted. Putting things off going, “I’ll be able to one day!” suddenly feels foolish, because who knows when that one day will be, if it will be a day without masks, if it will resemble anything I’ve ever known… and that’s if it comes at all. Seeing so much hurt and suffering has turned my heart back to poetry for healing, and I thought why keep putting off the inevitable when I could share some of that healing with the world.

There’s more information over on the campaign page, so I won’t spoil it all for you here and now, but I wanted to make sure I shared this here on my blog since so many of you lovely folks who’ve been reading my musings over the years have been so supportive. In the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing some sneak peeks at some of the poetry to come, so keep your eyes out for those.
