Elayna Mae Darcy (she/they) is a queer poet, YA author, filmmaker, and podcast producer. A proud Philadelphian and Temple University alum, Elayna’s love of the written word has translated into roles with Write Useful Books LLC, Blue Stoop, Booksweeps, and Plottr. They actively serve as a Municipal Liaison for National Novel Writing Month (affectionately, NaNoWriMo) and have been an enthusiastic participant in the annual event since 2004.

Elayna’s love of engaging with fandom communities has led to them speaking on panels at conventions across the country, and serving as producer on the podcasts Saving People, Queering Things, and Fine Things Well. They are the author of the UNVEIL ME poetry duology, which includes UNRAVELING LIGHT and DARKNESS UNDONE and the YA fantasy novel in verse, STILL THE STARS, which is the first book in the Oreanam Trilogy.
